Established in 2019 by our visionary leader, Nicolò, Pinpoint originated from a groundbreaking concept that transcended its humble origins as a high school project. With Nicolò's background in maintenance and a fervor for predictive maintenance technology, he embarked on a journey of self-development as a programmer, propelling Pinpoint's rapid evolution. Beginning with Caleno Energy, Pinpoint set out to address genuine industrial challenges with clear, innovative solutions accessible to CEOs, CTOs, and technicians alike.
Despite adversities, including the Covid-19 pandemic, Pinpoint has made significant advancements, introducing the distinctive Caleno Energy product and continually adapting to confront the urgent demands of climate change and energy efficiency. Our trajectory is one of unwavering innovation, rooted in practical expertise and a dedication to effecting tangible change for a greener, more sustainable future. Pinpoint boasts a dynamic and diverse team, spanning expertise in full-stack, front-end, back-end, IoT specializations, and innovative minds like Matteo, a physics student, who enriches our R&D efforts. Complemented by a core of creative marketers and designers, such as our inaugural team member Luca, we thrive on flexibility, team cohesion, and inclusivity. Nicolò, a co-founder, transformed his high school project into the bedrock of Pinpoint. Raised in a family deeply entrenched in machine maintenance for Italy's pivotal industries, he has achieved remarkable milestones by the age of 24. Armed with a diploma in Software and Telecommunications, Nicolo' embarked on his career in machine maintenance at an early stage. In just six years, he ascended to become one of Italy's 23 certified vibration specialists, earning the distinction as the youngest in Europe. Co-founding Pinpoint, Nicolo' holds patents for two groundbreaking inventions, epitomizing the fusion of heritage, education, and innovation driving the transformation of industries.
Elin embarked on her journey fueled by a passion for horses, which led her from Denmark to the USA and eventually to Italy. Boasting over 25 years of financial expertise, including a decade serving as a CFO in the maintenance sector, she has been an invaluable asset. Elin's extensive skill set encompasses strategic finance, ISO compliance, legal matters, personnel management, and financial analysis, showcasing her versatility and adaptability. Her narrative is one of resilience and financial acumen, resonating with the innovative ethos of forward-looking leaders striving for a global impact.
